Through its sections and subsections, the site provides visitors or existing SelfPay customers with information about: the company, the products and services offered, SelfPay promotions and campaigns and how they operate, job openings within SelfPay, announcements, and any other news or relevant information regarding the company’s activity. The site also allows visitors or existing SelfPay customers to use specific forms to submit various requests and/or complaints regarding the products and services offered by the company.

You can browse this site without being required to provide personal data.
However, in situations such as: responding to your request/complaint, locating you in order to display the nearest SelfPay payment stations, or considering your application for one of the job openings within SelfPay SA, you may be asked or required, in certain cases, to send us information that falls into the category of personal data, this information being provided voluntarily by you.
CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED
As stated above, a visitor or existing SelfPay customer can use our website without being required to disclose personal data to SelfPay SA.
However, if a visitor or existing SelfPay customer wishes to contact us, in certain situations such as those presented below, it is necessary to provide the following data:
1. For contacting and/or submitting requests or complaints to SelfPay regarding the products and services offered by the company, using the “Contact” form existing in the “Customer Support” section, the personal data to be processed are: the requester’s first and last name, phone number and/or email address, the reason for the notification or complaint, the information contained in the message sent for this purpose.
2. For contacting SelfPay in order to start a business relationship or a partnership with SelfPay, by completing the “Contact” form in the “SelfPay for Companies” section, the data to be processed are: the requester’s first and last name, the company’s phone number and/or email address, the company name, the information contained in the message sent for this purpose.
It is recommended that the messages you send us do not contain (other) personal data beyond those requested through the forms made available by our company. If such data are necessary, they will be requested later, when we contact you, in order to resolve the matters for which you reached out to us.
Any personal data transmitted to us that are not necessary for the purpose for which they were disclosed will be deleted/ anonymized after transmission.
3. To apply for one of the vacancies within our company, displayed as such on our website, by completing the form in the “Company/Careers” section, the personal data to be processed are: the applicant’s name, phone number, email address, link to the “LinkedIn” professional profile (if any), as well as those included in the Curriculum Vitae and/or Cover Letter you attach.
The personal data in the CV/cover letter or other information you provide to us in this context may include, without being exhaustive, the following: full name, home/residence/correspondence address, email address, phone number, photograph, previous employers, job responsibilities, possession of a work permit, professional authorizations and certifications, professional achievements, previous projects, references, analyses of professional development and skills, training, details related to performance and adaptation to professional requirements, any other information you choose to provide (e.g., preferred positions, availability for relocation, current salary, desired salary, awards received, or membership in various professional associations).
We will use your personal data within the recruitment process for the available position for which you expressed interest, as well as for any other positions that become vacant and for which we consider you eligible over a period of 1 year. To this end, we will keep your CV in SelfPay’s records for a period of 1 year.
4. To identify the payment station near your location and make this information available to you when you access the interactive features of our site, based on your consent, we will process data regarding the geolocation of your position.
For this purpose, we use the so-called geo-location API function upon your first access to the “Payment Station/Locations” section of our site via a terminal device (computer, laptop, smartphone, tablet). Upon your first access to the “Payment Station/Locations” section, various geospatial information of the terminal device (GPS data or information regarding the IP address used) is requested in order to determine the device’s location. The accuracy of these data depends, among other things, on your device settings.
For your information, and to the extent that SelfPay considers it to be of interest, the website www.selfpay.ro may also include other links/addresses to websites not controlled by SelfPay. These websites operate independently of our site and may have their own privacy notices, statements, or policies. We recommend that you review the personal data protection policies before submitting any personal information to these websites. SelfPay SA is not responsible for the content of websites that it does not own or manage.
SelfPay automatically collects certain technical information about visitors/users of the site and stores it in log files or other similar technologies. These are statistical data regarding the actions and browsing patterns of our users and do not “directly” identify a specific person. As soon as we no longer need them, we initiate actions to delete or destroy them, unless the law requires us to keep them for a longer period.
Unless otherwise stated in this document, in accordance with the Civil Code provisions regarding the legal institution of limitation, the personal data collected are archived/kept by SelfPay for a period of 3 years.
